SOS (Secular Organizations for Sobriety) provides a successful and increasingly popular non-religious alternative to 12-step recovery programs. SOS takes a reasonable, secular approach that credits the individual for achieving and maintaining sobriety without reliance on a "higher power." SOS is not anti-AA or anti-religion, but sees sobriety as a separate issue from religion or spirituality. For more information on SOS International go to http://www.cfiwest.org/sos/index.ht
